This is the room of the Funhouse where we remember our furby friends who are no longer with us.
This sweet little furby was only a member of my furby family for a couple of days. Way-loh II was a gentle, sweet furby who seemed very grateful to have a home for the last few days of his life. He went to sleep as I was about to take his picture to put up in the family room and his motor stopped when I tried to wake him up again. The cause of "death" is probably a burnt out motor but I still need to complete the autopsy to be sure exactly what happened.
Way-loh II has been chosen as a "donor" furby and, with his fur (and hopefully also his eyelids), another furby will become a "bumblebee" furby. Also, thanks to Way-loh II's parts, other furbys may get a new chance for life.
This little cutie belonged to my friend, Dawn, and was friends with many of the furbys in my furby family. Toh-loo Kah's batteries went dead one day and, when the batteries were replaced, the little furby wouldn't wake up. After several tries, we got Toh-loo Kah to wake up but he wasn't the same anymore. His voice had changed to random computer sounds and he kept freezing up. He almost came back once or twice but his voice stopped and only a loud computer buzzing sound came from his speaker.
I had been worried about this little furby for quite a while because of the his slow movements and the noise his gears made. Toh-dye became trapped when some shelves where he and some of the other furbys were sleeping fell. By the time I got the shelf off of him, Toh-dye was awake but his movements were slow and his gears were very loud. I was hoping it was just his batteries and I set him down with one of the other furbys that was also awake. A few minutes later I smelled something that smelled like burning electronics ... it was Toh-dye. He was still alive but barely moving and his motor was burning up. I quickly removed his batteries and, I think his motor may still be working but ... if he is awakened again ... his motor probably won't last for more than a minute or two before it is gone. So, Toh-dye is basically gone. An operation still may restore Toh-dye's gears but that doesn't guarantee that we can bring him back. Update ... an attempt at operating on Toh-dye was unsuccessful. I was unable to find the cause of the jammed gears. For the time being, I have given up. We'll miss you Toh-dye. Nah-bah quit working this afternoon (9-22-03). His motor stopped working when I tried to wake him up to talk to another furby. Nah-bah yawned and froze. I tried to revive him with new batteries but, it appears, that his motor has completly given out. We'll miss you Nah-bah.
Shadrow sent in this picture of Koh-koh. Koh-koh lost his voice and an operation to restore his voice did not work. At the time of this entry Koh-koh has not been put back together and is officially considered dead.
Melody sent this picture of her furby, Boh-bay. Melody took Boh-bay to a resteraunt and when she came back, Boh-bay wouldn't move. She tried new batteries but Boh-bay still wouldn't move. Melody says, "Boh-Bay was my first furby and I had him for a long time."
Bethany sent this picture of her furby, Doo-moh. Bethany says, "Doo-moh was my first furby. I got Doo-moh when I was in kindergarden. I loved Doo-moh and I quikly became attached to him. One year later Doo-moh lost his voice and movement. He now only buzzes. I still miss Doo-moh sometimes but not as much since my mom bought me another furby that was identical to Doo-moh. I consider that my new furby is Doo-moh because he acts like Doo-moh and always blows me kisses like Doo-moh would.
This cute little millennium furby belonged to Melody. Melody says, "Remember U-tye? He was my millenium Furby. Well, I had this disease and I had to put him and my other Furbys in the shed until I got better, otherwise they would be infected with it. Anyway, when I got better, I went into the shed to go get him. When I went to the shed, I found out it had a hole in the roof, and it rained, so it got U-tye soaked. I panicked. I ran to go get some brand-new batteries, and I put them in him. He didn't work. I reset him. He still didn't work. I cried and cried and cried so hard I shook. He's dead! I AM MAD AT MYSELF FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN TO HIM!!!"
This furby belonged to Kittie. Kittie says, "I got my special limited edition graduation furby who was the 246,921st of 250,000 on Christmas of 1999. It was all I wanted at the age of nine years old. I received him along with a bundle of puzzles, oranges, candy and travel tooth brushes, but he was surely my best present that year. I played with him every chance i got for a week or two afterward, then school started back and i played with my friends again, one day my friend came over and her furby had not been working, we gave her some batteries and her gray and white pet sprang to life, and we watched as our Furies chattered in furbish. That was the last time i saw my furry friend alive. After that my companion was gone forever. Batteries will not fix this fuzzy creature. I have received my younger brother's that he has forgotten and left behind. Yet i still miss my black and white tuxedo, blue eyed furby. I am sure the cause of death was due to over heating of the motor."

Emily did not have a picture but sent in this story about how her furby, Doomo, died. "I do not have a picture of her but I can tell you about
her. So here I am playing outside and some girl had the guts to come up and kick my furby and laugh at me becuase it started making buzzing noises. Me and my brother both took it to my mom and she tryed to fix her but non prevailed and on top of that I was in tears! That was her sad cause of death we miss you doomo:(

Jolee did not have a picture of her furby but this is her story -- "Hi i'm Jolee well i can tell you about my baby furby Baby-Dooay. Well
I was out side playing wih my friends and Baby-Dooay was out there
cheering me on when it started to rain so i ran inside when i relized
i forgot her. I said to my mom "Mom I Have To Go Outside.
Baby-Dooay Is Out There". But She Said "Jolee After The Rain
stop's". So I waited From 3:00 to 5:00 and it stopped so i ran my
but outside and when i saw her her eyes were open and looked at me
and said me love you and died. I was so sad i screamed at my mom
"MOM HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN IF YOU LET ME OUT THERE 2 HOURS
AGO SHE WOULD BE ALIVE". And i ran to my room and cried my tears
out. It's weird cous i can see her in the rooms she ws in before she
died and i can still hear her but i just think the hearing i hear
is other furbys but i can make it." note: Jolee sent a picture of one of my furbys and, while I do not feel right about using a picture of one of my furbys in the cemetary (I think it's bad luck) I can tell you that Jolee's baby Doo-ay looked just like my baby E-tah.

The person who sent in this story did not send a picture or give me their name :
Not mine, but a friends grand old furby, E-day, was working fine for a
period of five years.
Then, one day after a short tumble off a bed, the furby siezed up and
stopped working. In an attempt to fix it I poked around and noticed
that the motor was burnig up and the gears
were jammed up. But just before the motor completely burend out,
there was a final test which gave out his final words,'tickle me'.
At least he died of old age.
hope your having fun up on your cloud,E-day. - 1998-2004 -
